Fashion Week

Part of the image of Paris and its culture, the Fashion Week has been fascinating many people and cultivating the image of Paris throughout the world for decades. We all have seen images of fashion show inside great places.

We know less about its surrounding environnement. Captivated by its power of attraction, its effervescence, its public life, I have been documenting the Paris Fashion Week from an external point of view for several years.

Grands Magasins

This project took his name from two major shops, Galerie Lafayette and Le Printemps, situated along Boulevard Haussmann in Paris. Surrounded by offices, smaller shops, bars and restaurants, both shops attract all year long thousands of tourism and Parisian people.

At first, it was the diversity of people, working in the area and walking through the area that lead me to start this project. At the end of it, my photographs described a place that was closer to the image of Paris. A place made of femininity, charm, smartness and fashion. This series was made between the spring/summer 2014 and 2016.
