Up North

In 2007, I chose Scotland as my home, embarking on a journey that led me to traverse every corner of the country. Exploring the rugged textures of its wild landscapes, immersing myself in its vibrant cultural life, and navigating the solitude of its most remote roads became an integral part of my experience. Although I departed in 2011, my connection with Scotland persisted, drawing me back regularly.

This series made of photos from my Scottish archives reflects my memories of country that called once home. These photos, gathering memories and various explorations is a diary of captured moments frozen in time between 2007 and 2016.
